03VC is an investment syndicate for pre-seed and seed companies. We find and examine early-stage businesses, write them up plainly, and invite a small group of experienced investors to join us in individual deals rather than a pooled fund. Our focus is financial and business infrastructure, and technology-enabled services — companies improving how businesses operate, transact and deliver essential services.

The syndicate is built for founders who want a first cheque from people who have operated, and for investors who want to see exactly what they own. It is led by Shamaz Khan, a technology founder, operator and angel investor with experience building companies across fintech, financial infrastructure and enterprise software. He leads diligence, invests personal capital in every deal and works alongside founders after the round closes.

We are based in Dubai and work with companies in the wider region and beyond. What we look for does not change with geography: real demand, sound economics, disciplined execution, and a founder who understands their own numbers.
